The basic aim of Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedy is the increase of level of theoretical and practical preparation of doctors. Teaching of course of traumatology and orthopaedy must consist of two parts: theoretical improvement and pre-attestation cycle. Application of multimedia technique during lectures and practical employments enables to the teachers to take all theoretical and practical potential of department to the listener. The computer equipment is testified to modern approach to the system of teaching and reception of examinations after speciality by traumatology and orthopaedy (Ukr. z. telemed. med. telemat.-2005.-Vol.3,№2.-P.221-224).

Основним завданням кафедри травматології та ортопедії ФПО є підвищення рівня теоретичної та практичної підготовки лікарів-травматологів. Викладання курсу травматології та ортопедії повинно складатися з двох частин: теоретичного удосконалення та передатестаційного циклу. Застосування мультимедійної техніки під час лекцій та практичних занять дає змогу викладачам донести до слухача увесь теоретичний та практичний потенціал кафедри. Комп’ютерне обладнання свідчить про сучасний підхід до системи викладання та прийому іспитів за спеціальністю травматологія та ортопедія (Укр.ж.телемед.мед.телемат.-2005.-Т.3,№2.-С.221-224).
