TELECONSULTATIONS
Donetsk R&D Institute of Traumatology
and Orthopedics (http://www.dniito.org.ua)
provide teleconsultations in trauma surgery, orthopedics, neurosugery,
microsurgery, pediatrics trauma.
Department of Informatics and Telemedicine
also works like coordinator (mediator) in teleconsultations by different
medical problems. In 2000-2004 we carried out about 200 teleconsultations.
Structure of medical areas: Traumatology
57.5%, Orthopedics 21.5%, Neurosurgery 4.9%, Oncology 4.2%, Hematology
2.1%, Rheumatology and cardiology 2.8%, Ophthalmology 1.4%, Teratology
3.5%, Endocrinology 0.7%, Venereology 0.7%, Plastic surgery 0.7%. The geography
of our teleconsultations is include 33 countries (EU, USA, Russia, India,
China etc).
